2011 5K Run/Walk for Children, To Prevent Child Abuse
July 23, 2011 (Rain or Shine!)

Individuals, families, businesses and organizations will step up to prevent child abuse on July 23rd, by taking part in the 2011 Run/Walk for Children, Rockland County, an event designed to honor kids! This event will feature a 5K Run, 5K Walk  as well as a Fun Run for Children. Prizes will be given to the top runners in each age category, to the top 3 walkers and to the participant that collects the most donations. Food and refreshments will be provided.

A special thanks to: The Village of Airmont, The Ramapo Police Department, The Ramapo Central School District and the Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corp for all their hard work and support of support of this event.

When:
July 23, 2011 (Rain or Shine!)
Check in: 8 a.m., 5K Run Race kicks off at 9 a.m., 5K walk kicks off at 9:05 a.m. and Fun Run for Children will follow the Run/Walk Race. (approx 10 a.m.)
The Walk/Run will start and finish at Cherry Lane Elementary School
